Murano Glass Vase “9473”

Round vase with cylindrical neck, in clear Murano glass, with three rows of six large tesserae in red, cobalt blue, green and amethyst. 

In this artwork, Archimede Seguso weaves an illusory weft in a clear Murano glass vase with soft and slightly rounded lines. Applied on the entire surface, a series of meticulously coordinated tesserae create a heavy look, given by the play of predominant color contrasts, the dense and bright orange and the amethyst, intense and impenetrable.
